Jeff Farrah

Jeff Farrah is General Counsel at the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) where he advocates before policymakers for the venture capital industry and VC-backed companies. He leads all in-house legal matters for the association and co-leads the public policy department. Jeff regularly speaks and writes about how policy impacts innovative and disruptive companies. He frequently advises investors and companies on the direction and impact of policymaking.

Prior to joining NVCA, Jeff was Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation where he advised Chairman John Thune (now Senate Minority Whip) and members of the committee on technology, telecommunications, and Internet policy. Jeff also served as General Counsel for former Senator Scott Brown; as an attorney at a leading law firm for international trade matters; and on Senator Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign as a member of his Trade Policy Advisory Committee.
