Jeff R. Barnes, P.E.

Jeff R. Barnes is a Civil Engineer for the City of Nampa Public Works department. Always seeking to add to his expertise, Jeff is now pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree to better serve the people of Idaho through public policy.

Since 2011, Jeff has worked for City of Nampa Public Works, where he's kept busy by preparing annual water, sewer and transportation budget and pavement asset management plans, negotiating public private partnerships, ROW Acquisitions, and Developer/Agriculture Representative Agreements.

Jeff is a believer in proactive development and engineering. Rather that sit back and wait for problems to fix, he believes that a city's residents and businesses are best served by proactively building for the future. Internally, he's helped to increase project management efficiency and optimize communication across the board.
