I will admit, I am very addicted to sports. I wake up every morning and the first thing I do is turn on Sport Center and go on ESPN. com. I am constantly thinking and focusing on sports on a daily basis. My nights consist of watching the Bruins during the winter and the Patriots on every NFL Sunday. I am heavily addicted to fantasy football, studying it all week before Sunday's matchups. During the summer, after a long day at work, I love nothing more than coming home and watching the Red Sox play.

As you can see, I have a strong love and passion for sports, and that is why I chose to study Sport Management. Everytime I watch my Boston sports teams play, I dream of working for an organization and being a part of a family and a team. My real passion in sport management is sports marketing. As I watch teams play and see their marketing efforts, I am always thinking of new ways to help promote the organization in a positive way.

Here I am today as a Junior and a Sport Management major in one of the top sport management programs in the country. Over the summer, I worked as a Game Day Intern for a college summer baseball team called the North Shore Navigators. At school, I am a Tournament Operations Committee Member for the Mullins Center Fall Face-Off Invitational, a student run hockey tournament at UMass.

I hope to continue my passion and focus more on sports marketing as I move into the future. I believe my school and classroom experience will help me get an internship in sports marketing, which will help me get hands on experience in the field I have a desire to work in.
