I’m Jeffrey Allan Parsons, and for over 35 years, I’ve been immersed in the world of antiques, collectibles, and estate sales. My journey began on a farm in Buffalo Hart, Illinois, where I learned the value of hard work while helping my father with livestock and assisting at his full-service gas station. One day, a customer gifted me an 1878 silver dollar, sparking my passion for coins and collectibles—a passion that turned into a lifelong career.

By the age of 18, I had built a significant coin collection and sold it during the silver boom of 1980 for nearly $100,000. That experience taught me not only the financial potential of collecting but also the importance of appreciating history and craftsmanship. Since then, I’ve conducted over 500 estate sales, managed businesses like Parsons Produce, and operated more than 150 firework stands across Illinois. Today, I manage the Estate Treasures Roadshow and lead the American Rare Coin Collectors Association, offering expert appraisals and helping families navigate the often emotional process of estate sales.

What I love most about my work is the stories behind every item. Each estate sale or collection is a treasure hunt, and I take pride in helping families preserve their legacies while maximizing the value of their possessions.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Bree, our five children—including two adopted daughters from Russia—and nine grandchildren. Whether I’m golfing, gardening, or fishing, I’m always grateful for the balance between my personal and professional life. Giving back is also important to me. Over the years, I’ve supported families in need, donated to those recovering from crises, and provided holiday gifts to brighten others’ lives.

My career has been about more than just buying and selling—it’s about building trust, uncovering history, and creating meaningful connections. For me, success is not just measured in numbers but in the lives I’ve touched and the stories I’ve helped preserve.
