A respected expert in the field of precision dairy management, Jeffrey Bewley laid the foundation for his professional success with a bachelor of science in animal sciences and a minor in agricultural economics from the University of Kentucky (UK). He went on to earn a master of science in dairy science/dairy systems management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a doctor of philosophy in animal science/dairy systems management from Purdue University. After obtaining his PhD in 2008, Jeffrey Bewley returned to his undergraduate alma mater to accept a position as an assistant extension professor with the UK Department of Animal and Food Sciences. Six years later, he accepted a promotion to associate extension professor.

More recently, Jeffrey Bewley has served as a support manager with Bovisync in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He also co-manages CowFocused Housing, a part-time dairy housing consultancy that concentrates on compost-bedded pack barns and freestall barns.
