Jeffrey Boyle
Based in Greenville, South Carolina, Jeffrey Boyle has over 20 years of experience as a food and marketing consultant. He specializes in advising national chains and Greenville-area businesses on preparing, marketing, and selling premade deli pizzas. Jeffrey Boyle has worked for large food manufacturers, owned and managed his own pizza dough business, and revived a failing food manufacturing company. Boyle began his career as a food broker specializing in deli and bakery items. He sold products to both national and local grocery retailers in the Greenville area. The specialty items he represented included pizza components, pita bread, frozen dough, and cinnamon rolls. In 1999, Jeffrey Boyle took over a bankrupt pizza dough company. He managed two pizza factories that produced cold-pressed and hot-pressed crust as well as frozen dough. In addition to being the owner, Boyle took over and managed sales and marketing for the company. He sold premade pizza crust to grocery store delis, pizza parlors, and food service companies and increased the firm’s annual sales to $12 million. He sold part of the company in 2008. Jeffrey Boyle remains active in food marketing and production in the Greenville area. His interest in the deli pizza market has expanded to include the trend toward high-end specialty pizzas with a wide variety of toppings and crusts. He has produced a training brochure to teach grocery store employees how to measure ingredients, apply them to the crusts, and display pizzas to maximize attractiveness and sales.
