Jeffrey Fadness

I was born September 23rd. I'll leave the year blank for now, since you wouldn't believe me anyway. I know, right? -- don't look a day over 21...okay, maybe 31 lol. Good...now that we've got that settled, my heritage is 100% Norwegian. Not that it makes any difference, but there ya have it.

Growing up I lived in Wisconsin, Florida, Colorado, Texas and Virginia. From 1980 until 2008, I spent my life building a career, raising three incredible children, and about 21 of those years operating a business I founded in 1987.

In many ways I am so very fortunate. My friends and family, as I'm sure most folks feel, are an amazing group of people at the center of my world . And like all of you, I've had my ups and downs. One of the highlights of my life was to have been blessed with three amazing children. I had a goal to build my own company. Check. By the time I was 30, I formed a company named QAM. It became a multi-million dollar enterprise by the time I was 35. This gave me an opportunity to travel the world and make several millions of dollars during the life of the company. Then in 2004, I entered the process of an ugly, heart wrenching divorce, lost a child in 2006, and in 2008 came the Great Recession.

From time to time, we all fall off the saddle. What's important is that we have the courage to get back on and keep riding. Two beliefs I hold dear in life, are that every moment is an opportunity to start fresh, reset the present, and redefine our futures; and that every person has the ability to change a life, a community, an organization, and indeed the world.
