Jeffrey D. Fish

I'm a 23-year-old journalist working as the Local Editor for the Mansfield and Sharon, Mass. Patch websites. Before that, I worked part-time at the Boston Globe City Desk. I graduated from Suffolk University in 2012, earning a B.S. in Journalism and Political Science. I was the Editor-in-Chief of my College newspaper, The Suffolk Journal, and wrote a weekly political column called High-Fives and Dope Slaps for a former Boston.com blog called The Next Great Generation(TNGG).

My ultimate career goal is to combine my love of writing and politics and tell the truth beyond the artificial arguments played out in the media that distract people rather than inform them. I want to always promote the cause of real journalism, which is essential to preserving our democracy.
