After high school, Jeffrey attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst briefly from 1999 to 2000. Seeking a more focused path, he transferred to Ramapo College of New Jersey, a public liberal arts college in Mahwah. From 2000 to 2004, he pursued a degree in information systems technology, where he not only honed his technical skills but also distinguished himself academically. His achievements were recognized when he became an active member of the Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society, which honors academic excellence in business administration. This society, founded in 1913, is known for promoting leadership, scholarship, and service among its members—traits that would serve him well throughout his career.

Jeffrey's professional journey began in 1996 when he took on a skate guard and party planner role at The Rink in Montvale, New Jersey. This job, which aligned with his childhood interest in hockey, marked the start of his working career.
