Jeffrey Maibach

Since receiving his Bachelor of Science in Education from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, Jeffrey Maibach has devoted almost a decade of his career to teaching and mentoring young students. He currently works as a substitute teacher for grades 7 through 12 in the Bloom-Carroll Local School District in Carroll, Ohio. For 7 years, Jeffrey Maibach was a full-time social studies teacher for grades 9 through 12 in the Highland Local School District in Logan, Ohio. In this position he developed lesson plans and taught classes on American history, world history, Cold War history, economics, and government, among many other topics. Additionally, Mr. Maibach served as a head or assistant coach for the district’s football, boys’ basketball, and girls’ basketball teams, and held the position of Chairperson of the Social Studies Department for two years.

Jeffrey Maibach also is qualified to teach other topics such as geography, sociology, and psychology. He possesses skills in classroom management, creative lesson planning, curriculum development, standardized testing and scoring, learner assessment, and experiential learning. In addition, he is experienced in teaching children with learning difficulties and helping to redirect students with behavioral issues into more productive patterns. Mr. Maibach is licensed to teach in Ohio and has an Ohio Pupil Activity Permit. Jeffrey Maibach holds active membership in the National Federation of State High School Associations. He donates to the American National Red Cross and enjoys video games, football, basketball, and listening to music.
