Experienced in auditing and financial management, Jeffrey Plotzker most recently served as healthcare program specialist with the New York State Department of Health’s (DOH) Office of Health Insurance Programs (OHIP) Public Consulting Group. Lasting from September, 2017 to January, 2018, Jeffrey Plotzker’s work centered on the oversight and implementation of audit initiatives and he liaised between various stakeholders.

Mr. Plotzker coordinated risk management reports spanning assessable OHIP units and also engaged as the state’s representative in facilitating Payment Error Rate Measurement functions. He fully documented the procedures employed in the audit implementation process across the DOH OHIP programs.

Mr. Plotzker also has consulting experience as healthcare program associate with the DOH OHIP’s Division of Health Plan Contracting and Oversight Bureau of Provider Enrollment. He coordinated with outside agencies such as KPMG and CMS in the execution of targeted audit initiatives. Additionally, he verified healthcare provider licenses and certifications, and ensured that discrepancies were resolved in ways that complied with state mandates. Jeffrey Plotzker earned his BS in actuarial and mathematical science at the State University of New York at Albany.
