Jeffrey Roe

My name is Jeffrey Roe and I'm a Community Manager. I currently serve as Fractional Director of Community at Sway's Universe. In my current role, I build community for a podcast called The Rap Dads Show as well as the Sway in the Morning Show on SiriusXM. The Rap Dads Show explores the journey of fatherhood through the lens of Hip-Hop in an effort to correct the narrative of Black and Brown fathers. Rap Dads features some of your favorite rappers including the likes of Jim Jones, Taylor Bennett, Benny the Butcher and many more!
Sway in the Morning is hosted by Sway Calloway every weekday from 8am-12pm ET on Shade 45, a SiriusXM channel by Executive Producer and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Eminem. Sway, along with his co-hosts Heather B and Tracy G, sit down with guests from the world of film, music, sports, and more. They also touch on the wild world of celebrity news, politics, and crazy current events daily from the SiriusXM Studios in New York City.
Over the course of my 13 year journey as a community professional, I've had the privilege to work with dozens of brands in roles leading teams of community managers that helped empower organizations to achieve measurable business growth by building meaningful relationships with their customers. This included the strategizing, execution, and measurement of community programs for brands like SiriusXM, Facebook, Best Buy, H&R Block, Meta Quest, Red Table Talk, and Bayer.
Outside of my 9 to 5, I also serve as a Donor Member of PRS Fest / Puerto Rock Steady. The PRS Festival is an annual multi-genre music, dance, and arts festival that brings together the finest talents in music, dance, art, and culture with a meaningful purpose: To preserve the stories and honor the contributions of the Latino Community in the four elements of Hip-Hop - DJs, Rappers, Graffiti artists, and Dancers.
I'm an Irish Nuyorican who was raised in Jersey City, NJ and I currently reside in St. Petersburg, FL. I also spent a few years living in Austin, TX during my tenure at Khoros. In my spare time, I love going to concerts, watching movies and TV. I also fancy myself a video production aficionado and enjoy connecting with members of the film community in my local area.
I believe in taking a heart-centered approach to community management powered by a faith-based category design mindset. Please consider me a resource as you embark on your community journey and don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything I can help you with.
