Jeffrey S. Bearman
A former District Manager for Hawaii, Jeffrey S. Bearman has spent most of his career in that state, serving government agencies and private companies. For more than 20 years, he has expanded his skills in areas related to management, including team leadership, motivation, policy development, process improvement, business development, client relations, logistics, and cost reduction. Bearman has also contributed his expertise to restructure start-ups and build profitable companies.
Recently, Jeffrey S. Bearman founded his own company in California, Leaders in Hospitality Facilities in the greater Los Angeles area. Building upon his experience in management and public services, he continues to follow trends, attend networking events, and participate in discussions regarding the future of the industry. Prior to this, Bearman worked for the state of California as Facilities and Operations Manager of the Port San Luis Harbor District in Avila Beach. Previously, Jeffrey S. Bearman spent eight years as General Manager of the private company Ocean Sports/Westrec Marinas, Inc., in Hawaii. He also served the state of Hawaii as Property Manager for the Transportation Division, District Manager for Kauai and the Big Island, and Emergency Disaster Coordinator.
In 1988, he launched his career in Hawaii as Assistant Manager for the Kaneohe Yacht Club. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Washington State University, Jeffrey S. Bearman studied at the University of Hawaii at Manoa to earn his MBA in Business Management and Finance. His academic excellence obtained him induction into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. In additional, Bearman received a certificate from the Juran Institute of Quality Management. Jeffrey S. Bearman holds membership in the Rotarian-North Hawaii Chapter. He supports organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hawaii and the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Hawaii. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing, scuba diving, and backpacking.
