Jeffrey Sklar

Jeffrey Sklar is a real estate broker in Las Vegas, NV and the owner of My Realty, LLC, a Real estate brokerage that assists in real estate sales.

All his life, Jeffrey knew he wanted to be involved in the real estate business, having grown up following his father's footsteps in the business. During the summers in high school, Jeffrey would help his father out by taking over some of the responsibility of managing his properties. On the days he helped, Jeffrey would manage tenant issues, sweep the parking lots, and take care of maintenance. When he was a teenager, his family moved from Cincinnati to Las Vegas where Jeffrey Sklar still resides today. He enjoys the warmer winters, drivability of the area, and diversity of the people living in the area.

While many people visit Las Vegas with the intention of gambling and partying, Jeffrey knows there's much more to the area than the bright lights and craps tables. There are many natural sites in the area, like the Red Rock Canyon, that people sometimes don't think about. There's always something to do in Las Vegas and surrounding areas like the Hoover Dam, ghost towns, and museums. Las Vegas is also a foodie destination and Jeffrey Sklar enjoys tasting the variety of cuisines of Las Vegas.

For over twenty years, Jeffrey Sklar has been involved in the real estate business, doing everything from managing properties to remodeling, purchasing and selling properties, and investing. While Jeffrey has a lot of experience in commercial real estate, he has made more of a shift toward residential real estate, which can be more challenging for many real estate agents.

Las Vegas has fairly recent residential developments with the average home being only 20-30 years old, meaning it will have comparatively fewer problems than a home close to 100 years old.

One of Jeffrey's favorite aspects of working in real estate is being able to help people find the property they want and need for their current situation. Whether it's a first-time home buyer looking to settle down or an investor who's trying to find the best possible property, Jeffrey enjoys helping them figure out what they want and actually bring it to fruition.
