Jeff Schrade

Washington DC

I joined the Natural Gas Supply Association in 1998. My job allows me to meet with U.S. Senators, Members of Congress and Congressional staff, and sometimes White House officials about issues of importance to the natural gas industry. My usual request is: "Don't help us. We're doing just fine!"

The Natural Gas Supply Association was formed in 1965 and today represents the major producers of natural gas in the United States. Member companies include such well known names as Shell, Chevron, ExxonMobil, BP, and ConocoPhillips, and other large producers of natural gas.

I began my road to my present job when I went to work for the Idaho Republican Party in 1988. Since then I've worked for three United States Senators, served on two U.S. Senate Committees, successfully managed a candidate's race for the U.S. Congress and served on the staff of a governor.
