In addition to his professional achievements, Jeff Webb Cheerleading is also a conservationist and philanthropist who enjoys various hobbies and interests. He is an avid boater, duck hunter, and one-wheeler.

Webb is the founder and president of the International Cheer Union (ICU), the governing body for the sport of cheerleading. In 2016, the organization was recognized as the world governing body for cheerleading. Established in 2004, the ICU, also known as Cheer, has over 7.5 million athletes worldwide. As a proud member of the Association for International Sports for All, the ICU is a nonprofit international governing entity with a mission to advance the sport of cheerleading.

Webb is also senior news editor at Human Events, a Washington, D.C.-based news and analysis outlet. Human Events was founded in 1944 as a print newspaper and became a digital-only publication in 2013. Webb joined the company in 2020 as senior news editor and co-publishes the website with executive opinion editor Will Chamberlain. Under Webb's leadership in 2022, Human Events acquired The Post Millennial, a Canadian online news magazine.

Before his involvement with the ICU and Human Events, Webb founded Varsity Spirit in 1974, later becoming Varsity Brands. He served as the CEO until 2018 and remained the chairman until 2020.
