Jeff Wolfsberg
Nutritional Therapist and Practitioner in Boston, Massachusetts
You can read a more complete biography on my website. Here's what I think matters. I'm well educated on the topic of nutrition, behavioral change, exercise, mental health and addiction. I was very sick once, most of it arguably self-inflicted by poor eating, lifestyle choices, mental health (trauma), and addiction. I ran through the typical channels; therapy, treatment, and medication. Some helped, most didn't, some made problems worse. The final word is that if I relied on those models or someone else to get me well, I'd be dead. I have recovered and sustained my health through changing the foods I eat, my mindset, and exercise (yoga). My turning point? You must take control of your life. No excuses. No blaming. There is no pill, person (that includes me), program, that is going to fix you. You are. I believe if you are reading this, you know that, and I'd be pleased to be your guide along the way.
My 5 critical core values that I think are essential to long-term health recovery:
1. Hope
2. Education
3. Personal Responsibility
4. Self-Advocacy
5. Support
I work with men and those they care about.
