Jelani Wray

Based in Brooklyn, New York, Jelani "Lani" Wray is a music producer with several years of experience. From 2012 to 2018, she worked as a music production manager at Free Form Productions and was instrumental in signing the artist Jovanie to Atlantic Records. In January 2020, Jelani Wray started working as a music production manager at Humble King Records, where she is responsible for identifying and signing new artists while also negotiating a range of deals on their behalf, such as distribution and licensing agreements.

Alongside her music career, Jelani "Lani" Wray is a restaurateur who owns Wray's Caribbean and Seafood Cuisine, which was opened in 2014. With the Brooklyn-based restaurant, she oversees the hiring and coordination of staff while also administering payroll and adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.

She has been a guest speaker at Lincoln University, where she gained her bachelor of arts, as well as a panelist at the South By Southwest music conference in 2013, among others.
