Jem Bahaijoub

Jem Bahaijoub is an established creative and strategic leader with over a decade of experience in the international music and entertainment industry. Jem launched imaginePR in 2009 with the aim of providing a bespoke marketing service to bands and brands in the Greater Washington, DC area and beyond.

Throughout her career Jem has worked with an eclectic roster of international clients, including record labels, music-tech companies, arts organizations, and up-and-coming musicians. Jem has provided PR and marketing for labels such as Universal Music Group, Warner, EMI, and NexGen Music; organizations such as the Future of Music Coalition, Vince Power Music Group, Recording Arts, and Tamborine Productions; festivals such as The Hop Farm Festival, New Generation Arts Festival and Pavarotti & Friends concert series; and music-tech companies such as Indie Ambassador, Datz.com, Mbop megastore and TheBizmo.

Jem co-hosts the monthly music industry event series the Metro Music Source, and is a marketing consultant for the prestigious Strathmore-Artist-In-Residence program in Washington, DC. Jem also runs regular music marketing workshops and panel discussions, and writes regular industry articles which have appeared on sites like WeAllMakemusic.com, IndieAmbassador.com, MusicThinkTank, Hypebot, MicControl, and ASCAP Daily Brief.

Jem’s marketing services range from print and online PR, digital marketing campaigns, social media consultancy, web development, and branding. Jem continuously adopts a personalized and highly creative PR and marketing strategy for all her projects, and thrives on working with a diversity of artists, companies and events.
