"If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn't brood. I'd type a little faster." --Isaac Asimov

Freelance writer, blogger, social media junkie.

I am an Illinois State University alumna. I majored in journalism news editorial in the School of Communication and was a writing minor in the English department. I worked as a senior staff writer and a supplement editor at the school newspaper, The Vidette. I was also the director of the Relations committee in Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), where newsletters and blogs are written. PRSSA also taught me to network and volunteer with my spare time! To finish my undergraduate degree, I studied abroad in Florence, Italy for one month learning travel writing and Italian.
