My writing is a puzzle. With a pen in my hand i dump all of my thoughts messily onto paper, as you would dump out all the pieces to a puzzle onto a table before you truly begin the long process that is putting together a puzzle. It is confusing,challenging, and well, puzzling. That is, until you have sorted through all the pieces and put together the final picture. This is how my writing is, a bunch of little small bits of a bigger picture only put together after i go back and edit, revise. Puzzles require complete focus and interest, they are time consuming but worth it if are finished and done correctly. The way i write also requires attention and interest, I get distracted very easily and if i am not interested enough in what i am writing I will simply stop, leaving my words lingering on the page like the unconnected pieces of that black and white 5000 piece puzzle most leave unattended. Not only is my writing a puzzle, but I am a puzzle. Most of the time I am complicated and confusing, people always trying to figure me out, and put my pieces together. Only a few seeing the whole picture.
