My research focuses on critical race theories, Indigenous theories of decolonization and resurgence, and on white settler colonialism in Canada, historically and contemporarily.
My current research examines neoliberalism and white settler colonialism in the Athabasca region, where tar sands extraction is facilitated through strategic partnerships bewteen the oil and gas industry and federal and provincial settler governments.
