Jena Casbon, MS CCC-SLP

Boston, MA

I am extremely lucky to have found a career that I love.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist has allowed me to help people return to life following a devastating event.

As an educator, I've enjoyed shaping graduate students into competent and caring clinicians.

I have had the pleasure of working at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Emerson College in Boston, Touro Infirmary in New Orleans and in Private Practice in both locations.

My website, IndependentClinician.com helps SLP's, OT's and PT's start their own private practice. I offer free resources in addition to two books for sale: The Independent Clinician Guide to Private Patients and The Independent Clinician Guide to Creating a Web Presence for Your Private Practice. Both are available here.

I've have also had the privilege to act as a consultant for several media projects. So far I've helped with two documentary-style television shows MTV: True Life I Have a Traumatic Brain Injury and ESPN 360: Ryan's Hope and one novel, Left Neglected by Lisa Genova.

My passions include the New Orleans Saints, spicy food and being with my family.
