Jenara Nerenberg
Public Speaker, Writer, and Consultant in Berkeley, California
Jenara is a consultant to individuals and families seeking to ground themselves in the midst of unprecedented social, spiritual, political, and economic change. A graduate of Harvard and UC Berkeley and a writer for the UC Berkeley Greater Good Science Center, Susan Cain's Quiet Revolution, Fast Company, and elsewhere, Jenara brings a unique blend of warmth and presence along with grounded scientific understanding about individual, family, and community growth.
Jenara spent 6 years in Asia, growing accustomed to an entirely opposite way of operating as compared to life in the US. Coming back to the bay area catalyzed a profound shift -- emotionally and spiritually -- and ultimately catapulted Jenara toward her current work.
Jenara maintains an active community presence in Oakland and Berkeley, working toward greater racial justice, deep understanding and compassion, and supporting people in their journeys toward wholeness.
Jenara charges a sliding scale fee for her services between $60 - $80 / hr to reach a range of people and families. She is available for individual and family consulting and as a speaker and presenter.
All working relationships are customized to the specific needs of the client -- whether looking for family support, spiritual counseling, career input, parenting support, or otherwise.
Jenara brings a multi-faceted background to every interaction -- her own family consists of atheists, Catholics, Jews, Buddhists, Muslims, and Baha'is and biracial marriages and children make up her immediate and extended family.
