Hello everyone,

My name is Jenavieve Rath. I am an LTO teacher with the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board. I went to Brock for my undergrad in Child and Youth Studies, and graduated Brock's Teacher Education Program in 2020. I have been teaching K-6 ever since. I am looking forward to the Family Studies ABQ because I am interested in teaching it at the intermediate level. I always believed I would only teach primary. Yet, with my experience this year in Grade 6, I really think I would love teaching older students as well!

When I am not teaching, I love spending my free time with my family, my dog, reading and traveling. My current obsession is reading Colleen Hoover novels and planning my trip to Rome!

Another interesting fact about me is that I am Métis. As an indigenous teacher, I always try my best to educate and celebrate indigenous culture with my students.

I am looking forward to learning more about Family Studies and contributing to my professional development as well!
