Jen Bertsch

As a successful entrepreneur coach, Jen Wiczek Bertsch has an unending drive to help people grow their business and live intentionally while doing it. Supporting entrepreneurs is a passion realized in her work in the second largest Chamber of Commerce in Minnesota. She saw first hand what set apart the successful go-getters and the ‘not so’ go-getters. Jen loves to ignite a fire under her clients and work together to pinpoint, implement and choose best practices to help them become an industry leader. Her inquisitive and direct style makes it easy for her clients to open up. Being raised in a fun-loving, Polish family, which included a father with a big personality and six brothers, many of whom are entrepreneurs, helped cultivate her comfort with a diverse crowd and give her an ease when talking shop. When she was growing up, her dad used a peculiar word to describe her. He would smile as he watched her grit, wit and determination and say, “you’ve got moxie, kid! A lot of people don’t have it, but you’ve got it”. After a few other mentors echoed this adjective, it seemed there was no other choice for a name when starting her coaching business in 2007. At Moxy Coaching, Jen uses her contagious enthusiasm to spark her clients to take the actions needed to create a future distinct from their past. Owing to her vast experience – in retail management, advertising, training and economic development-- she consistently implements innovative ideas resulting in record performance. She received the Duluth News Tribune’s 20 under 40 award in 2008 being recognized for leadership in her community by founding, Fuse Duluth, a program focused on connecting young professionals with the business community. Constantly curious, she is currently engaged in advanced coach training at Coach U, pursuing an International Coaching Federation accreditation and is a REACH certified personal branding strategist.
