The International Child Abduction Research & Enlightenment Foundation (the I CARE Foundation) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing international parental child abduction and child trafficking.

I work primarily with the Executive Director and oversee social media and the blogger outreach program. The blogger outreach program is one in which a handful of parent bloggers are helping to raise awareness through the sharing of critical information regarding international abduction to their readership. This program has played a part in the 2011 & 2012 decline of US outbound international child abductions. As for 2013, the I CARE Foundation is expecting to see a substantial decline as well, which is fantastic considering previously the trend was a pattern of consistent growth for almost the past 30 years.

I am also the mother a child with Autism and I have a passion for advocating for those on the spectrum... I do this not only in my community, but also through my blog, Mom-ology. Being a family that lives with Autism, I have a first hand knowledge of just how critical it is that society learns to accept those that see the world a little differently... those that have different abilities. I created my blog, Mom-ology, in 2011 as a way to share with others about our experiences living with the good, the bad, and the funny side of Autism.

Mom-ology has been ranked as one of Canada's Top 6 Mom Blogs in 2012 & 2013, one of Canada's Most Influential Blogs in 2013 and as well, is a current nominee for the 2013 Canadian Weblog Awards.
