Jeneane Kowalchuk

I am a student at the U of R in the arts education program. I'm majoring in music and minoring in drama. I believe that the arts can help everyone, they give people a nonviolent and respectable way to express troubled emotions and share them with the words. The arts are a way to escape from all the troubles of life. That is why I am an active member of the art, participating in band, chior and drama in high school and now I studying to teach arts to other child so it can help them too. I play piano, clarinet, saxophone and am being to learn guitar. I also sing. I was an active member of the drama club in my high school, I even won an award for being stage manager in grade 9 and best actress in grade 11. But I'm not just all arts, I'm an athlete too. I participated in Volleyball, Badminton, Curling, Skating and Synrozined Swimming. I also recently started walking wascana lake.
