The Survivor

Hi. Welcome to my page. My name is Jen and I currently live in the Houston area. Because much of my page will contain personal information, I will not divulge too much regarding my true identity. I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and childhood maltreatment (emotional and physical abuse). My time as an adolescent was mostly turmultuous and spent bouncing from home to home while riddled with suicide attempts. Unfortunately, my adulthood hasn't been much better. I have spent the majority of that time mourning my childhood (or lack thereof) and trying to heal from my formative years.

The goal of this blog is as much about reaching out to others who are working on healing as it is about trying to find my identity and learning to love myself. There has to be some reason my Higher Power hasn't taken me from this place other than living in misery.
