Jenivy De-ang Galang was born on December 15, 1992, in the town of Candaba, Pampanga. She was the third child and only girl in a family of 4 children. Her father, Rodrigo Simbulan Galang, a former OFW in Iraq for more than 4 years, came from Candaba, Pampanga while her mother, Vilma Palma De-ang, a businesswoman, came from Sta. Ana, Pampanga. Her siblings our Jervy Galang ,an Overseas Filipino Worker, Jerome Galang, a private school teacher and Jude Galang, the youngest of the family. Their family belongs on a middle class.

She was consistent honor student during her elementary and high school days. She graduated high school as a scholar. When she was in high school, Jenivy is also an active student government council president and participated in different national trainings. She love to help and serve other , especially to the students like her who also want to serve and share their knowledge on how to be an effective leader in their respective schools.

When she was in elementary, her mother decided to went in Batangas to find job because her father lost his job. The loss of his father's job was not easy for his family. As the only daughter of the family, she learned the work and obligation of a woman, she learned how to cook, how to wash their clothes and clean their house. And when her father decided to find his luck to abroad, their luxurious life back.
