Jen Lashua
Born and raised in the Green Mountains of Vermont, Jen has a deep appreciation for nature which deeply influences her art.
Jen began painting 15 years ago, as part of a woman’s art circle in Corvallis, Oregon. Here in this creative collective she began to explore the art of painting.
Over the years, Jen began to study Chinese Brushstroke, she has studied under the guidance of Chinese brushstroke teacher, Marlow Brooks in Boulder, Colorado.
Jen’s work has primarily been in Chinese Brushstroke, with Sumi Inks and Watercolors. She is now embarking on a new journey, into the world of Acrylics. Jen has recently completed Flora Bowley’s True Bloom class.
Jen is currently studying to become a Certified Color Aroma Therapist.
Within each piece, she aspires to transform color, shift forms that become fluid expressions of magical forces. Her art aims to provoke the spiritual alchemy that lies within us all.
Jen is also founder of Love & Tea, where she works in the art of tea blending. Love & Tea is a fusion of her two passions, Art and Tea. Her original art work is also featured on many tea labels.
Her artwork has been published in several additions of We’ Moon and most recently in the Spirit Of We’ Moon Celebrating 30 Years Anthology.
