Jen McDevitt

Striving under pressure is one of the greatest feelings out there for Jennifer. Being a visual thinker, she likes to see her work in front of her and what better way then with event planning.

She has worked with non-profits and organizations to execute events that have reached out to thousands of people. Jennifer is looking toward a career that her communication, organizational and problem solving skills can be exposed.

Jennifer grew at a professional level through a position she held with Fraternity and Sorority Life. Jennifer was the VP of Programming where she executed events for the members and worked with many people in a hands-on and fast paced work environment.

Last term, Jennifer worked with a client out of Medford, Oregon to execute a plan for their community to learn more about what to do in an emergency. She excelled in the creative thinking aspects of the projects by thinking of what would work for the client and how they could make their town safer.

Jennifer is a double major in Public Relations and Communications at the University of Oregon looking to focus her career in the Journalism or event coordinating field.
