I am brand new to this blogging world, but I have decided I am going to tackle this thing called blogging and see what happens! I love my family! We may not have it all together at times, but together, we have it all! I have two sisters and one brother...Renee Hanshaw, Laura Sherry and T.J. Richards. My mother, Jane Richards and father Ed Richards (who is not on FB yet, lol). I have four children...Bobby, Brandon, Brooks and Baily...three boys and a girl. My youngest, my baby girl is almost grown! I have only been "Aunt Jenn" since 2010. My nephews, Wyatt and CJ are my awesome little guys in Murphy, Texas! May 16, 2014, T.J. and Madison, my brother and sister-in-law, gave me a sweet little niece, Emerson Ivy! This is only a small sample of the huge, loving family I grew up around!

I love to play pool. I have been playing in the APA League since 1999 (trying to win that trip to Vegas)! My ladies 8-ball team FINALLY won the Championship in 2013 and I took my FIRST EVER trip to Las Vegas! We didn't win the BIG money, but we placed 9th out of 60+ ladies teams...WHOO HOO!

I love playing the guitar and bass, but the learning never ends! One day I might be really great, lol! I love dancing and listening to great music, especially live music. I just recently got to go to the reopening of the Louisiana Hayride...totally AWESOME! I had the priviledge of working for James Burton and his family at James Burton's Rock and Roll Cafe in Shreveport, LA until they closed the doors. The Burtons are WONDERFUL people and I got to meet so many great artists and musicians in the years I worked with them. At home, I am usually reading, watching a movie or as of recently, learning about the world of BLOGGING!

I work at the VA Medical Center (9 years now) and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it. My Mother and Father are both Navy Veterans and my brother is an OIF/OEF Veteran. I am not a Veteran myself, but it is my honor to be able to serve those who have served our country. It's my small way of thanking all the wonderful Veterans and their families! The staff and VETERANS are AWESOME! "If you love your FREEDOM, thank a VETERAN!"
