Jenna Peters

Student, Artist, and Musician in Canada

Hi, I’m Jenna Peters.

I’m currently a high-school student living in Canada. I have lived here for my whole life, and really enjoy it here. I am interested in coffee, music, and photography, as well as writing and English literature. I am also very passionate about social justice, and am a large advocate for the vulnerable children of the world.

Throughout junior high and high school, I have achieved the honour roll every year, and maintain a high average, specifically in the Humanities and Arts fields. I have also become a World Vision Youth Ambassador, where I am able to connect with other young people who are passionate about the same things as me.

As I continue through my life, I am consistently faced with challenges and obstacles, but have learned how to think both critically and creatively, and develop a solution on how to overcome my obstacles.

I carry the belief that each person should be treated like a human, and that every person should be given the opportunity to grow and develop their mind. This is why I am so passionate about children's freedom and education, as well as their access to clean water and sustainable food sources. I also care about children here in Canada, and that they are able to live a happy life where they are supported and loved.

My future plans and goals are to finish high school, and attend the University of Calgary. I hope to do a concurrent degree and receive my Bachelor of Education and my Bachelor of Arts (Major in English), later working to receive my Masters of Counselling. I would like to work as a school counsellor with junior high students, as that is where I feel most called.

I hope to put good use to each skill I have, and use my life to create a positive change in the world.
