Jenna Chaffee

Denton, TX

I'm currently a senior at the University of North Texas pursuing a degree in Journalism with a concentration in strategic communications, minoring in leadership of community and nonprofit organizations with a strong focus on nonprofit organizations. I'm passionate about volunteering and fundraising. I have volunteered with March of Dimes in Fort Worth, TX and Boot'n & Shoot'n in Burleson, TX. I would also love getting involved in setting up volunteer events at my current place of employment, Anthropologie.

Other areas I have practiced fundraising in have been with my past softball, volleyball and basketball teams. However, I was first introduced to fundraising in the 6th grade when I was active in student council, so I guess I have always had somewhat of an interest in philanthropy.

In my personal life I love going to church, reading my Bible as well as other books. If it were up to me I'd read every second of every day. I enjoy animals, specifically dogs. I love the environment and taking care of the world I live in. Finding new, unique restaurants with my two best friends is a favorite pastime of mine. I enjoy drinking wine with them too.

While I do love reading so much, I'm also an avid writer. I keep a journal with me at all times to write down my thoughts. I enjoy painting, listening to all sorts of music, drinking coffee, vintage ice cream shops and road trips.
