Jenna Kirchner

Education: On December 13th, I will be graduating with a degree in Intregrated Studies (concentration in Communication & Education) from Kennesaw State University. Integrated Studies gave me the unique opportunity to combine my interests. I enjoy teaching young children and teens, sharing life experiences, and the ability to provide advice. I strongly believe in the power of education, and the independent strength it can provide. Additionally, my Communication background is specific to Media Studies. I have thoroughly studies the effects of technology, social media, and advertising on our society. By understanding the relationship between our culture and the ubiquitous form of social media we encounter daily, I feel confident that I can effectively define and deliver messages to specific target audiences- whether it's for advertising, marketing, business, or communal messages.

Work & Hobbies: The reason I combined these in one subject, is because my work has always involved my hobbies. I am a very active person that can spend a whole day outside just to enjoy nice weather. I love exploring, road biking, running, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking- you name it! In January, I will have been teaching fitness classes for five years. I teach all classes, but kickboxing currently has my heart. Nothing beats the feeling of changing someone's motivation and watching them discover what they are capable of. I am passionate about living an active and healthy lifestyle. Teaching and sharing my knowledge to help other's build a healthier lifestyle is a fulfilling part of my life.

Alongside fitness, I enjoy learning about photography. Working at a photography studio, I have a basic foundation for lighting, photo-editing software and modeling. Photographs can be much stronger than words, and the amount of influence they exert on our culture is intriguing.
