Video Specialist in Dallas, TX

Hire me

I'm Jenna Welch, and I have a passion for storytelling.

I'm a SoCal girl living in a Cowboy's world (aka Dallas, TX). Currently serving as a Video Specialist for Caliber Collision HQ.

I’m your go-to girl for pre-production, scheduling, directing, interviewing, and on-camera hosting. I also have experience in editing, camera operation, concept development, and scriptwriting. Past projects include live events, commercial production, digital advertisements and bunches more.

In my college years, I made Texas my new home where I attended Baylor University. I graduated with a BA in Film & Digital Media.

During my time as a Baylor Bear, I worked for Baylor Athletics' Baylor Vision.I jumped around from in-game highlight editor and instant replay to floor camera operator almost every game for 6 seasons. I also worked part-time as a broadcast reporter for the Baylor Lariat. I learned as a senior that I didn't just love being behind the camera, but thought to try my skills in front as well.

My first shot in the real world was at ABC News as a Creative Services Producer. I started as an intern my senior year then joined the KXXV team full-time after I graduated. I was a sponge and couldn't get enough of all the experience in a fast-paced newsroom sharing compelling stories.

I spent over a year getting to know the people of Central Texas and telling their stories. I helped families get closure, gave people a voice and a platform to speak their views, and helped get an official state speed limit lowered on a dangerous road after a fatal accident.

I’ve interviewed countless families, community leaders, and people from around the world. I've seen people endure tragedy and overcome struggles. But I've also seen the best in people come out when it matters most. I've realized the power of telling stories, how it can help a brand relate to viewers, or influence real change. So I've made it my mission to help make that change happen.
