I am an actor/director specializing in Shakespeare. I studied at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, receiving my MFA in London at East 15 acting school in theatre directing with the Uni of Essex and furthered my tuition studying Shakespeare and Education (MA) at the world class Shakespeare Institute through the Uni of Birmingham in the UK. Beside all of the education, I am a world traveler who likes to put the text to practical use. Dusty and wrinkled, I travel, putting what I have learned to use, whether it be in Indonesia or in Las Vegas. Adventure might as well be my middle name. Creating theatre, Shakespeare especially, is my art form, it is not a foreign tongue that can not be learned, no matter what language you speak. Cultures can be crossed easily when there is a common thread. Theatre is a lovely bridge. Shakespeare wrote human stories just aching to unite peoples. I direct them.I freelance. Directing worldwide, although Indonesia has been my stomping grounds. I teach. I am a teacher of acting, text, passion. The life of the actor/character lives beneath the word, in the body, I am only a vessel to help free the voice of the actor, through breath, through body, through self.
