Jenn Yarborough
Jenn Famous Art is a Art and craft online store I am currently building, from the ground up as a way to showcase and sell my various Artistic talents, including: Photography, Acrylic Painting, Watercolor, and murals. I am also sell various craft items like: knitted hats/scarves, painted glass, Window clings - mainstream and original Designs, other projects are an e-book of poetry and a blog, a spoonflower shop where my photos and paintings are printed on fabric and purchased to make various items like quilts, sweaters, stuffed animals, etc. I also have a Zazzle shop where photos and art is printed on various consumer products. I enjoy studying about business, and practicing my artistic talent, while searching for ways to combine the knowledge to become a great business woman and Famous Artist. Which leads me to an explanation of my chosen brand name: JennFamousArt. Jenn being an ever popular name, and one I can lay my small claim to by virtue of my birth certificate (lol) and my dream of one day having a small fortune, and eternal Fame through my art, I thought why not combign the 3 as a shop name. If this seems arrogant, I apologize. I am by no means a snob, and my only intention with the name was to use it as a way to draw that Fame that I so desperately wanted. I was told often as a child that I could not do this as my FIRST Career, and that I should have a more SENSIBLE plan and go to school and all that. blah! I never ever saw myself in that scene, and I prefer to learn at my own pace. sometimes Fast, sometimes at a more average pace. So after pushing myself away and above my childhood setbacks and insecurities, I have worked and slaved at my dream, and when that voice comes back to tell me Go be "such and such" until you get to a "better place" I tell it, "I am the Mature Adult here, and it is my life to live," "And Mom, I know you worry, but don't, I am very happy, besides, it's the journey that matters not the destination, you knew that once, remember it when you start to worry. (and also remember I can always get a "dead end" job to make ends meet, thanks to your teaching me how to stretch a dollar.) I promise I will work hard, and when times get tough I will get a "paying" job. but for now just try not to worry, ok? " And I am very happy. I am married to the most wonderful man on earth. He supports me, he works hard, and takes care of me if I'm sick, or need help. He once carried me down the stairs because I sprained my ankle! I Love Him!
