I'm a vegan mum living with my husband, two young daughters and two old cats in south-east Wales. My obsessions include running, reading, knitting, and especially food: thinking about it, buying it, cooking it, eating it and writing about it. One day I intend to grow it too, though realistically it isn't likely to happen until I have a bit more time to myself (post retirement?) I am also a big fan of history and prehistory of all periods from homo erectus to Elvis.
