Jennie Stuhrenberg

I am an Independent Living Skills Specialist here at BVCIL. My main area of concentration is in the core service peer support. I am starting a Brain Injury peer support group and a job prep club in April. I plan to start other groups such as a peer group for young adults with autism or a peer group for people with Cerebral Palsy. Of course, we are consumer driven so I will facilitate groups wanted and needed by our consumers. I also help publicize BVCIL and our services by contacting local agencies and media outlets. What I enjoy most about my job is seeing consumers learn new skills and become more independent and confident individuals.
