To attend Paul Mitchell’s cosmetology school and be a certified makeup artist is Jennifer’s dream. Though that’s only the beginning, she plans on starting off as a MUA at Ulta or even as a manager, whichever opportunity is open first. She also aims on making it to college for business and management and dreams in having her own beauty salon. She would love to get paid to do what she’s passionate about, which is doing makeup and makeovers on others. Ever since she was young, she is easily inspired and artistic, this is a significant trait to have to be a MUA, it makes it much easier to work with what kind of looks the clients are looking to stretch for. Another thing that takes people a long way in any profession is being amiable and respectful. Being a very genuine and kind person is what Jennifer is, and that helps with how she interacts and speak to clients. She’s been watching makeup videos since middle school and it wasn’t until she came across beauty guru Carli Bybel that she grew a huge aspiration to be a makeup artist. She has already done makeup on different people other than herself and continues to give her work exposure, she’s very self-confident in her work and skills which she hopes will take her dream career a long way. Becoming the best artist she can be and trying her best on any look is what she strives for, she never slacks off, she loves what she does and makes sure to never disappoint herself or the client.
