Jennifer Fernandes

Hi, my name is Jennifer Fernandes, and I am currently working for the Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board.

Every student is competent and capable, given the proper supports and opportunities to succeed.

As an Educational Assistant supporting students with various exceptionalities, I am driven to create safe and inclusive spaces.

Working alongside the classroom teacher and the interdisciplinary team of professionals enables me to consistently help students gain independence and confidence at their own pace through individualized support.

Some of my key qualities when working alongside students are patience, respect, and empathy, keeping safety as my number one priority for every student's well-being.
