I have lived in Dubai in Dubai since October of 1997 for a total of 15 years. I have worked for Move One since November 2011 and my focus spans three areas of responsibilities including managing the UAE HR, internal immigration and office management. For the UAE when an employee joins Move One I manage the on-boarding and induction on new hires and transferees. In addition I manage the entire exit interview process, the delivery of policies and procedures to employees and managing our front line reception staff. Globally I am responsible for managing the talent management and the performance appraisal process.

I currently live in Jumeriah Beach Residence with my husband and three children: Sophia (7), Zayed (5) and Omar (19 months). Sophia attends GEMS Winchester School, Zayed attends Emirates International School, and Omar will attend nursery school when he reaches the age of 2.

I greatly enjoy the outdoors and beautiful Dubai weather with my family. There are many parks and beaches in Dubai where you can enjoy evening walks. I am also a huge fan of the movies. I enjoy going to the cinema once a week. When visitors come to town I enjoy taking them to the Beach Bar and Grill at the Royal Mirage for the great food, ambience and lovely view. In the next year I am looking forward to growing in my role at Move One, attending my younger brother’s wedding at Christmas and dancing with my dad, taking a holiday to Thailand, losing 12 kilos, see my friends more and running a 10K. I miss my family, close friends and the country side back home in addition to British TV, in particular BBC dramas and documentations. In addition I miss real Cadbury chocolate, fresh bread and alfresco dining in London.
