Jennifer Kalen

I teach 8th grade English Language Arts @ Asheville Middle School. I moved to Asheville from Chicago in 2009 where I taught English & History at the high school level. Once in Asheville I was fortunate to work as an Associate Teacher at Evergreen Community Charter School.

This will be my 4th year teaching at AMS, and I completely love it. I am passionate about finding new ways to integrate technology into the ELA classroom and am involved in several grants/initiatives to bring more tech into ACS.
