Using canvas and acrylic paints, I create abstract paintings, all of my paintings are original and I only sell the ones I love.

I always thought I was no good at painting or drawing, however, a few years ago I felt a strong desire to paint, and so I did! After starting, I found that I didn't want to stop. I became passionate about painting all the different ideas, thoughts and dreams in my mind, and it would be the last thing I thought about at night, consumed by what I would be creating next.

So, further to creating a large portfolio, and finding that there was a lot of interest for my abstract work, I created Ella Jon Creations in 2014 to showcase my paintings.

I also work as Bid Support and Marketing Coordinator at GHI Contracts, a specialist fit-out and refurbishment company based in Bellshill.

I graduated with Honours from the University of Strathclyde Business School in 2004. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of working in the construction industry, I am always learning, as this market is extremely competitive and there are so many levels to understand, and people to learn from.

My responsibilities are varied - I deal with co-ordinating bids for projects; from finding out about opportunities through clients / industry professionals, to completing pre-qualification questionnaires and tender support quality documents. On the marketing side of things; I am involved with creating newsletters, case studies and marketing materials and managing our website and social media sites.
