Jennifer Serrano has specialized in the marketing discipline, with vast experience in brand management, marketing strategy, and digital marketing. As a seasoned Marketing Director, she is passionate about bringing strategic framing and analysis to accelerate business growth.

Most recently, she developed and implemented strategic plans to support 'reader revenue' business model and support journalistic mission for local news media: El Nuevo Día. Jennifer developed strategies to improve conversion, retention and monetization through print and digital subscriptions. She was also selected as a key contributor for Google News Initiative Digital Subscriptions Lab to support innovation projects and implement strategies that resulted in 345% in YoY sales. She has been a recipient of International News Media Association for exemplary performance to enhance and shape the company’s brand and audience engagement.

Prior to that, she worked at HubSpot, in Boston (MA) where she provided consulting to marketing agencies and agency partners on how to apply the inbound marketing methodology. By delivering soecialized coaching on topics like marketing automation, content marketing, lead generation, branding and other digital initiatives, Jennifer helped business partners add more value to their clients.

She also held marketing positions at technology and telecommunications companies where strengthened her digital marketing skills and passion for customer journeys’ analysis.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from the Universidad de Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras and an MBA from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. Most recently she completed the executive program: Digital Marketing Strategies: Data, Automation, AI & Analytics at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
