I am a junior at Western Michigan University and I want to tell you why I am an excellent fit for your company based on my strong skills in networking, leading, and problem solving.

I've been networking my whole life, really starting when I became manager and started running my family’s business at age 15. And thanks to WMU's business program, I now not only have strong business relationships with hundreds of people across the country, but thousands globally. Networking has helped me become so relatable to people and engage audiences, it’s also given me such a broad knowledge base of the world around me and how things work, which has shaped my profound abilities to problem solve.

An example to outline my leadership abilities, besides having managed an entire business and staff, I also worked in sales at an elite local bicycle shop where I trained young new employees, teaching them the ropes of the business, and how to sell the variety of bikes and products we carried to the very serious customers we catered to. Effective problem solving has been key in my success in all my leadership roles. When products in stock would be misplaced or lost, I would take accountability for the mishap and work to upsell to those customers. Having the trainees learn from how I handle those situations in order to try and make sure those customers still left satisfied. I am an emerging sales and marketing specialist with a comprehensive background supporting account and marketing management teams, leveraging database management, teambuilding, computer and interpersonal skills. With strong verbal and written communication skills, I exercise exceptional judgment and work both independently and within a group setting. I am adept at driving increased revenues through the identification of new sales opportunities. I am a well organized, solutions focused professional who takes pride in my work and fosters collaborative and positive client relationships.
