Jennifer Cody Epstein

I am a writer and former journalist who spent seven years in Asia and nearly a decade in academia, earning my Masters in International Affairs at Johns Hopkins SAIS and my MFA at Columbia University. My first novel, The Painter from Shanghai, was published in 16 languages and became an international bestseller. I live in Brooklyn, New York with my husband and two daughters.
