Jennifer Floyd

Welcome friends!

I'm on a quest to become a modern Renaissance woman, filling the roles of poet, literary critic, essayist, academic, stray cat rescuer, philanthropist, musician, amateur dendrologist, knitter, scrapbooker, book collector, and traveller, with highly variable levels of success.

In addition to full-time studies at Laurentian University, I work part-time in a retail job and have a forthcoming tenure as an intern at the University of Sudbury Ethics Centre. I also divide my time between three major side projects: The Trillium, a quarterly literary magazine that I edit and publish, Knitting For The Needy, a charitable organization dedicated to creating and donating hand-knitted items to those in need, and Kusoma, a charitable organization that collects and sends books to girls in Africa. I'm also in the midst of working on my first book, a collection of poetry called The Chilling, which will be published in 2015.
